CD/dvd Not showing up ?

This can be because of a mis-configured registry entry.
Open Notepad
Copy and paste the following text and then save (choose to save as type "all files") with the name cdgone.reg.
Double-click on the saved file, and choose yes, to merge the info in your reqistry. Reboot, and the cd drives should be available.
